Odyssey G5 stuck at 144hz

My moniot is supposed to have 165 hz but it is stuck at 144hz, I would like to mention that i owned previously a G3 of 180hz and the cable HDMI worked perfectly, because I do not have a display port on my laptop.

I need a solution as its becoming frustrating, please

Windows key- Settings- display- advanced- it should show the refresh rate and you can select the correct one.


If it doesn't let you;
Being a laptop sometimes if youre using a higher resolution itll drop your hz as some laptops cant handle both.

Being the g3 is 1080p and the g5 is 1440p- your laptop may not be able to handle the 165hz on max 1440p settings.

Drop resolution down to 1080p and then see if it then let's you change refresh rate to the max 165hz
