Is my monitor broken?

Hi so i broke my power supply for my samsung monitor model code LT24E310EX/XU and i bought a new power supply, specifically https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NWDTRN7?ref_=pe_27063361_487360311_302_E_DDE_dt_1 … and it wont turn on, not even the red light so im wondering if that power supply works or if my monitor is broken

I'd suspect the power supply, however how did you break the last? If the connector was pulled out of the monitor at a bad angle you may have snapped the pin in the middle of the monitor power connection. Either way it is better to use a genuine power supply for electronic goods rather than cheap replicas
