Hi everyone,

I’m curious to learn about the best practices or hidden tips when it comes to installing APK files on Samsung devices. Whether it's about using Samsung's built-in features for security, managing permissions, or even tools/apps that make the process more efficient, I’d love to hear your insights.

For both beginners and advanced users, what are your go-to methods or recommendations to ensure a smooth and secure APK installation process? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I try to avoid APK downloads really.
Trouble with certain places you can download from, they can contain other software and are not secure.
Think sticking to main more trusted sites if you have to.
But the fact you have to allow install from external sources means you open yourself up to whatever extra files get downloaded with the APK file you won't be aware of.
Generally if I can't find an equivalent in the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store. I will do without

Like @Glenntech I myself won't use APK files due to the risks involved.

Apkmirror and Apkpure are the only trusted sites where you can download apps and it's secure. As others have said, i wouldn't recommend it as it is risky, and you could end up having malware installed on your phone. It's best to stick to official sources such as the Google Play Store.

When you manually install an app using an APK file you bypass safety protocols and may inadvertently install malicious files, generally I would not recommend using them. Whilst some sites are considered more trustworthy the risk increases outside the official stores. if you do wish to go down this road though for instance APKMirror states that it tests its uploads and authenticates before publishing.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Don't install any APK files/apps that's the best tip. There's a reason why Google and Samsung will block any downloads which is down to security. You've been warned ⚠️
