Can't use my PS4 controller with Apex Legends on my Flip4. Anyone have any advice or a solution?

On my G Flip 4 although I can connect my Ps4 controller to the phone I still can't use it with Apex legends like I can with my other phones, anyone have a solution or point 👉 me on the right direction for support.
