ZFOLD7 Thoughts, no hands on

So, as an owner of the ZFOLD3,4 and 6, I was hoping the ZFOLD7 would deliver the following:

1. Camera, yep, that's it.

So, some thoughts on the other bits

A. Camera, sadly, is still not at the S25U level, even though its price is higher

B. Size, I think it is too big and has tipped it into slab territory

C. Software, I don't like XHealth (it's just more data selling), and it's all to Apple O/S

D. Covers, I detest the case on one side, given that if you sneeze at a ZFOLD, it's £340 a repair

E. UI is overly complicated at UI7, UI8 looks more, it's all going in the wrong direction for me

Will I upgrade, yep 100% as I got a great ZFOLD6 deal and hopefully an even better ZFOLD7 deal.

Some good thoughts there @Obsydian.

A few questions I have to myself that I will hopefully get answers to during a hands on session.

1) that rather massive camera bump. It will be doing more rocking than 'shakin stevens'.

Surely marketing a sub 9mm phone thickness, is pushing the truth a little when the camera bump dimensions more than double the thickness at the widest point 😉

How stable is it with a case on... how thick does a case need to be to balance the phone a bit.

2) the phone looks really super thin. But how easily with large sweaty thumbs in this weather is it to unfold it 🤔.

3) the pen is mightier than the sword. I wont go any further into this... other posts summarise my thoughts on this.

Everything else seems pretty spot on to me. I am looking forward to trying the fold out... before I make a full judgement.

1. The speed bumps are like in Stokey, lethal

3. Yep this is suicide

The pen was the top issue at S25 Unpacked when BT was removed, removing the pen altogether is bonkers, side note I never use the S Pen, but would now give the MOOSEIVE Unfolded screen

I think ZFOLD7 is what happens when Marketing design a product and not the Product team.

The ZFLIP7 though is pure Product design and marketing love ❤️

Plus my Samsung Ring size is 15, so I must have banana fingers.

Back to the unfolding, with my commando ZFOLD6 I tend to catch my nails allot, a few times even the inner protector.

Reckon we going to see allot of warranty with, "sorry you damaged the inner screen by opening the wrong way, thats a new inner screen ££££££" 🔥🔥🔥

B. In my opinion it's very pocketable, more than S25 Ultra.

But strictly for the cameras. 

Fold 7 is truly sleek device...

Boom, and there it is, a £1800 device, the most expensive and no top end camera, same message at every Unoacked, yet they went slim instead with the mother of all camera bumps 😮
