Z flip 4 screen

Why are Samsung still selling the Z Flip 4 when they are well aware there is a serious issue withe the folding screens?, the screens are turning black like ink is being released inside, mine went after 4 months then they tried to charge me £349 to fix their problems.

If anyone knows of someone thinking of buying a Z flip 4 or a fold tell them to look on the Internet for screen issues relating to inking, this will put them right off, Samsung are ignoring this and then trying to stay you damaged the phone then billing you for a repaire they should be fixing free of charge, the phones should all be recalled with a full refund!.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THE Z FLIP ANDDD FOLD PHONES!!.

I love the concept of a flip phone and I did have the flip 4 briefly (great device and probably my perfect size and type of phone) but I had no confidence in the longevity of the screen so sold it.

I'll keep an eye on flip phones but to be honest if I was going to buy another in the near future I'd only buy it from Apple (if they released one) due to there far superior after sales service.

I agree I was thinking to buy one of those as my contract finish next month so now reading this I have second thoughts... I always used Samsung and since I renew my contract 2 years ago I'm having problems with the phone

My 120 Day-old flip Z4 has a broken hinge a big black line in the crease and the top screen doesn’t work at all and Samsung will not do a thing for me

Same has happened to mine. They advisor said this never happens and accused me of dropping it - I have not, however according to her they will know straight away!! So so disappointed. It happened suddenly, am self employed and lost so many files and birthday messages! Yes, happened on my birthday morning. Feel so bad as couldn't acknowledge my greetings.

I can only hope samsung honour their problem. I bought it directly from them.

I have been facing a black screen issue on my zFlip4 for the past 3-4 weeks. When I flip the phone by 90 degrees, it turns black rather than rendering the screen in hybrid mode. When I went to the Samsung Service Center, they straight away accused me of dropping the phone. Well, my phone was dropped a few times in the last 6 months, but should a 90K phone be so fragile that a phone cover could not protect its body from fatal damage? Even my buying experience was disappointing. I had prebooked the phone and it took close to 4 months before I received all the products and the discounts. So annoying !!

I also hope that Samsung honors its product and the issues it comes it.

Do not buy Flip phones. If you do, do not forget to take the expensive Samsung Care+ insurance. Else be prepared to deal with expensive phone issues every 6 months.
