Won't backup whatsapp new images or videos to computer using smart switch

Smart switch will backup older images and videos from my phone but not new ones. Permissions seem OK, think it is since upgrading to galaxy z flip 6. Any ideas?

That is a good question. Are the new photo's and videos saved to the same folder as your old folder?

Thanks for your reply. The older photos and videos go into the ones they should. The new ones don't go with them.

To check; when you put a new photo in the old folder, will it take it with it when you make a back-up? 

And when you go the settings from WhatsApp ---> Chats ---> Back-up from cahts, do you see a message about the storage that is left?

It shows google storage 2.4 GB of 15 GB used
