Secure Folder requires Phone Security now?

My personal choice is to keep my phone in swipe mode to unlock it. I don't feel I need the extra security because my phone is always on my person. I enjoyed having a password or security on my Secure Folder because it protects my files. But now it seems that I have to have two forms of security in order to use the Secure Folder. This is completely counter productive. Also it appears that you have for whatever reason removed the ability for Secure Folder to lock itself when leaving the application. You can jump back in and out as long as you haven't locked the screen. Again, this negates the whole idea and concept of security. Please tell me that this will be remedied in the next update. Soon. Also I have been on Reddit quite a bit. I am not the only one having this problem. It appears to be a software choice.

What is samsung doing? Why on earth have they changed this with no option?

Like others i always have my phone screen swipe to open with no security because i always have my phone on me and dont want to have to put a pin in every time i use my phone.

And the secure folder has a pasword on it anyway.

Now i am forced to use a pin on my phone to aswell to use the secure folder thst has a password on it anyway???

And no option to not? This is a joke. Samsung have messed up big time. Who ever made this a thing should lose their job. Like ive just lost my right to be able to choose.

Unbelivable. Why cant they just leave stuff alone. If it aint broke... dont fix it.

So in reality what samsung have now done is forced a lot of people, including me... to not be able to uae the secure folder at all. Because i dont want a screen lock pin/password.

Now i will have to store my secure information in a unsecured folder on my phone instead.

So now ive got no security at all. Thanks samsung. Well done.

Im sure all these comments fall on deaf ears anyway.
