Previous generation fold pens on zFold 6

Hey,

Does anyone know if Samsung say it's ok to use previous generation pens on newer devices?

I have a couple of fold 4 pens that I'd like to use on the 6 I have on pre-order. Just don't want to invalidate warranty

I'm not sure as mentioned in the launch about a new screen construction

Yeh I've ordered a new spen case to be on the safe side. Just quite like the shape and grip on the fold 4 pen - much better than the old note spen

From what I've heard the S Pen are designed to be used for that particular model. IE If S Pen bought for Fold4 should only be used on that screen

I would suspect it'll be the same especially with the new screen construction.

Just gone on the more info page for the fold 6 to look at the spen. It comes back with the one for the fold 5. Hopefully Samsung will clarify soon

I believe you can get the S Pen Fold Edition.

I'm sure we'll see soon to come posts with owners of both models letting us know if both types of Fold sPen will work or not @Artindoril 

Look on other sources too such as sammobile.com and Reddit.

Looks like Samsung provided official guidence this morning and the answer is that they should https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00089222/
