Sorry it's not professional way. I can't believe it. I pre-order Fold 7, Watch and case on 9th just after unpacking. First my order was stuck on payment accepted for a week. I contacted Samsung and assured me that shipping will start on July 22. Then status upgrades to order confirmed but dates changed. Latest date was today (July 22) for Fold 7 case and for Fold 7 was August 1. I contacted Samsung again and they said that these dates are not finale and again assured me for 22nd July. Today I received email stating "We’re sorry for the delay and are working hard to get your items to you as quickly as possible,
We now plan to deliver by 15/08/2025". Interesting part is that Samsung is still not confirmed on August 15 as they said that "We now plan to deliver by 15/08/2025".

Hi.

Preorders are like lottery . You have to be lucky to get your orders in for the First and Second batches otherwise you could be waiting a while especially if the product is a hit seller and also depending on the colour.

Especially with phones the standard colour is normally shipped quicker compared to other colours and so on.

Annoying though it is patience is key 🙏

I'm afraid this is fairly typical for Samsung.

It implies they have more orders than expected and thus stock will need to arrive before it can be shipped.

Fair enough. Still, if there was an issue with my order, then why was customer service assuring and reassuring me twice that the shipping date is July 22. They are informing me today (Samsung assured date) that my order is delayed for unforseen reason and plan to ship the order on August 15, which means August 15 again not confirmed.

I don't agree. Samsung is doing pre-order for the first time it's a well established company. If there were issues, Samsung should have informed us at the time when I was inquiring about my order. Instead of informing me about them, they assured me of July 22. For me, delay is not a problem.

You shouldn't worry as you'll get it sooner or later, Samsung never stick to the dates, you might receive it before the due date.

They can only tell you what their screen says and I'm assuming that, at the point you enquired,, that was the latest info?

Then, there is no need for assurance. Just say that the order is confirmed that's it. When you separately assur someone, you must be very clear about it.

Again, at the point when you asked, they appear to have assured you because that was the up to date information at that time.

Things later changed. Hindsight is wonderful.

But this won't change anything here I'm afraid.
