Hmm, I can't really think of a reason as to why it would behave the way it is. The best thing I can advise is for you to send in an error report so that our engineers can look into this and decipher the issue. You can do this by heading into Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports.
When sending the report, please make sure to send it within 15 minutes of using the Camera app, alongside attaching screenshots and the error log, as well as a detailed entry of the problem. It can take up to 28 days (but it's usually quicker) for our engineers to respond.
