Notifications being set as 1 for all

Last update has removed the personalisation of our devices! We can no longer set notifications for each individual app! I find this is a step back for Samsung. With every update it tells you,
"this is being done for your security and better user experience!"
I don't think this is an improvement to the devices, or betters the user experience! Everyone must prefer each app to be recognizable from the notification tone so you know if it's important or just a game or something that can wait?
Samsung need to revert to being able to pick your notification sound for each individual app, otherwise it's a simple generic phone with less personalisation thannits competitors!
If it's not sorted I'll be looking at the other devices out there for sure!

Hi, Pigzy

Is this not working anymore?

Settings>Notifications >Advanced settings >Manage notification categories for each app. Toggle that ON.

Then goto
Settings>Notifications >App notifications. Scroll through the list and tap on each app which you want to assign sounds to. Tap 'Notification categories' and toggle on each category as appropriate.
To assign a sound to each category then just tap on each one and tap 'Sound'. Choose a sound.

Thanks for this! What a carry on to do this! But at least I can do this! Poor service from Samsung to tell me this is removed like it or lump it!
This will take a while to sort out now but at least I can sort it!

I've followed the solution's instructions repeatedly. However,  there is no Sound button on any apps to tap on.  The device does have everything through Notification Categories,  but that's it. So I'm still unable to have different sounds for my different apps.

In agreement. I cant turn off certain notifications and definitely need certain apps to have separate notification sounds. Kind of want to switch back to my note 10 5g

This allows you to choose a notification sound, but it still doesn't work
