How to share screen via HDMI with flip 4

Hi my flip 4 display turened black for ever.
Atleast the down 90%.
To safe some data and prepair for the switch I want to connect this smartphone with a Computer Monitor.
The USB adapter allows to connect a keyboard and a mouse aswell. The Keyboard and Mouse works but the Monitor stays black.

do you have any solution?

Sorry to hear, might be easier with a USB C monitor, otherwise you will need a HDMI to USBC cable or some form of adaptor.

Beyond that assuming it is just a screen issue, have you tried a few soft resets?
Is it the inner or outer display or both ?
Have you ever connected it to a PC, might be able to access content via file explorer.

I already have a adapter " BENFEI USB C Hub 5in1, USB C Multiport Adapter with 4K HDMI".
its the inner display. it flickers when I move it so might be hardware issue.
I managed to do an backup by starting switch vie the 10% view and trying to hit the accept to connect button. This also allowed to open the explorer.

but still don't get the monitor running with my adapter.
Some sources in the web say it flip4 don't have this service... which might be unusual for that kind of standard function.

any way i still would like to try to get monitor running .

Sorry mate my bad Flip doesn't allow a USB C to monitor only Fold.

Best copy what you can, via file Explorer or ideally if possible start a backup

oh boy feels bad.
speacially cause the display is such a weak spot in this phone.

luckily i was able to do one Backup, cause the screen is turning darker and darker.

never had thought thad the flip4 isnt capable of this.
The samusng support mechanism even recoomends to do a backup, by buing the samsung adapter and using other controll devices to navigate throu the phone.

... now I need to think about sending the new flip 4 i bought back.
cause this might be a trauma I dont want to walk throu again.

How old is it, If less than 90 days get a refund or replacement do not go for a repair, or if you paid by credit card (part or all) file a section 75 claim

I bought it straight on the release. I was so happy about some inofation on the marked. And was sick about this tablet like ultra phone trend. The Flip4 was a very good mate. I was happy every day until it failed me.
