Galaxy z fold 3 battery drain

Just wondered if anyone else having the same as you fully charged my Galaxy phone last night 1-hour 30 minutes on screen time battery now at the 31%... Has made moving from the fold 2 to the new fold 3 really disappointing... I also have the high refresh screen rate turned off... And it is so slow to charge not like the fold 2... Any one else noticed the same

Yes I'm having the same issue with the battery OST is 2 hrs and location service AOD is off apps are limited at background and I been using the phone now for 7-8 days, my note 9 I had for 3 years now gave more time at same usage.

Had mine for a week and the battery is absolutely @#$%%. In the morning, Im scrolling just using the cover screen - checking emails, catching up on news and the battery drains from 100-90% in a few minutes - this is without me opening to the larger internal screen

Also when I check battery drain, Google Photos is taking some 50% of the drain IN THE BACKGROUND (ie I haven't opened the app at all). Does anyone else have the same issue with Google Photos?

Might be still early days with your phone still fully optimising and the battery not at optimum output @bobtheknight with you owning the phone just for a week.

As for Google Photos my preference is to use Dropbox so I put that app to deep sleep and disable it in Settings, Apps and Google Photos to begin with then I just eventually uninstalled the app.

tried another reinstall manually instead of Google restore. seems to be better as I'm reinstalling apps manually one by one from the play store. turning most apps to deep sleep helps.....just an unbelievable amount of work for a phone to get to this stage, compared to my xiaomi 11 and Huawei. slightly off topic but the xiaomi 11 screen is actually.way better in terms of color and brightness for videos especially netflix....now to sort out the dual what's app issue on fold 3....in Asia the update is still from Sept 1...we don't have access to the October update.

I move most of my information over using my Samsung Cloud Back up and Dropbox for my photo's. I'm not keen on OneDrive. 

Like you I also usually download my apps one by one using my Playstore Library especially of an app is misbehaving.

Phone display panels are different so I'm sure your eyes will adjust.

I'm in the UK on a Fold³ purchased direct from Samsung UK currently on the September update.

The new October will come soon I'm sure for us that are still waiting. 

I didn't get the September update until a week or so ago.

Yes, I having the same issue about the battery drain like crazy. I did disable the location accuracy and AOD settings and even I put all app in deep sleep mode but it doesn't help at all. Speechless still.

I have just started to see the power drain by 6pm, just 9 hours off charge. Only 2 apps in background that doesn’t refresh. Super slow at charging! What’s that all about?

Not sure about everyone else but I'm having quite a few gitches Google keyboard as I prefer it, when I'm typing spaces words out halfway through and makes mistakes.. also Google car mode doesn't matter how many times I turn it off, it puts my phone on do not disturb mode again as soon as the car and starts moving I missed 14 phone calls today lol...

My battery has drained 25% overnight while I was not even using it. 25% over 8 hours of non use
