Fold 6 - Ads on Youtube

Hi there,

You might think I'm crazy but since I received my Fold 6 I don't see any ads on YouTube. I do not have premium membership and I'm not part of any family plan. I'm a standard user.

I still got the S23 Ultra and where I usually see ads I still see them. I switch to Fold 6 and don't see ANY ads even on very popular channels.

And I'm bloody serious.

Can anyone explain this somehow?

Free months Premium YouTube trial? Was anything offered to you when setting up the device? Tapped on something in error when you meant to dismiss it? Where are you based. UK or elsewhere?

Definitely not and it wasn't offered when pre ordering as well. My account is showing no active memberships and I can buy one so if that would be trial I should see something. Googling it I can see it's nothing new and happened before with older folds, even 2

It happened to me too! I've had the Fold 5 for a few weeks now, and I get no ads on YouTube either. Not complaining. They used to annoy me so much. Enjoy

Enjoy the advert~less YouTube experience guys however do keep an eye on your finances just incase a charge is made.

Nope. Everything looks normal and this is what I see in my memberships.
Also YouTube Music has no ads at all but with no other features. It's all about ads, they're just gone

I've still got no ads on YouTube. There was an update 2 days ago. I updated and YouTube kept crashing. I uninstalled the update. Ok now. It's good with no adverts. Not doing much for my channel though lol. 🤫

Accounts are fine. Must be a bug on the new Folds.
