I’m using a Galaxy Z Fold6 updated to the latest One UI 8 / Android 16 version.
There’s a persistent issue with Google Chrome when using Samsung DeX.
If Chrome is open in DeX mode and I disconnect and reconnect DeX (for example, switching outputs or temporarily unplugging the cable), all Chrome tabs suddenly become massively zoomed in, as if displayed on a phone screen.
The DeX interface and other apps remain correctly scaled — only Chrome content is affected.
The only way to restore normal size is to restart Chrome.
Keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + 0, manual zoom reset, or display resolution changes don’t help.
Clearing cache or reinstalling Chrome also doesn’t fix it.
It happens every time I reconnect DeX. Other browsers (like Samsung Internet or Firefox) do not have this issue.
Please forward this to the DeX and Chrome teams — it seems that Chrome does not correctly re-apply DPI or display scaling when DeX reconnects.
