Has anyone done the recent upgrade? I have. It erased all my apps and I'm constantly getting adverts popping up now which is really irritating. 

I can't stop them, I've switched all the relevant apps and notifications and it's still happening!

If you restart the phone in Safe Mode via the following steps, do the pop up adverts continue to show up? Turn the device off > Press and hold the Power key > Release the Power key when the phone logo appears > Press and hold the Volume Down key immediately after releasing the Power key > Continue to hold the Volume Down button until the device finishes booting.

If the adverts are no longer visible then please restart the device and remove any recently installed third party apps.
