Seems to be an awful lag on my lock screen. Takes a good few seconds to wake up. Brand new S9 user.

1) no. Samsung hasn't bothered responding.

2) Yes I found the solution.
The sd card I had inserted was faulty. I just took it out

Hi @Seanstorey_ :robothappy:

Have you noticed any lag anywhere else on the phone, or is it just the lock screen? Appreciate that it's a brand new phone, but it might be worth going through the steps in the Health MOT to see if it clears any initial kinks.

Hi. The MOT steps have all been completed along with sort reboot and putting phone into safe mode yet the same issue occurs. Screen just lags and stays blank when unlocking if left for a period of 5 minutes of longer. Eventually comes back but lag of 20 seconds feels like a lifetime

Time is indeed relative. :robotwink:

Are you able to send an error report on the lag to our software guys via the Samsung Members app so they can take a deeper look for you?  Within 15 minutes of it happening, open Members app > select Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > Application > Tick Send System Log Data, and attach a description of the problem.

Have done this. Any idea how long it normally takes?

On to my second phone and issue still happening. Have sent multiple error reports and no response. Thinking about heading back to Apple products at this point

THANKYOU SO MUCH. IT WORKED FOR ME.

I FORGOT I INSERTED A FAULTY CARD EVER SINCE I BOUGHT IT.

BUT AFTER EJECTING THAT SD CARD, MY PHONE WORKS SMOOTHLY.
