Hello everybody greeting from colombia i am soooo dissapoonted with this product. From the start i was skeptic about the s9plus aince i heard ao muxh bad stuff...you always think its an isolated case it wont happen to me. Ive had the phone for 7 months nearing the warranty period  and the phone has presented some subtle lines in the phone. It so subtle i think i might have not noticed it for a while but nonetheless it is there. 7 months! So it got sent to samsung for 12 days now and supposedly  ill get it back on monday ..and was told the screen was replaced.now i am left with a repaired open phone..and scared as ***** it will happen  again just like it did this one and then im stuck with a fat bill. I am dying to hear the technical reasons the phone presented this fault. Do i have to be greatfull you guys fixed my phone and ended up with a repaired one with a *****ing factory detect What products are you selling samaung.i can gladly tell you youve ruined  my flagship experience with your company thia being the first flagship ive bought from you guys ..turned out to be the worst

..to think  i had my eyes on the s10. Buyers beware s9plus is very faulty ..big risk at buyong. Bought some icon x 2018 running to return them or give them away. Thank you scamsung!

Hi @s9russianrulet

As the repair is being conducted by a Samsung approved engineer you should have no worries in regards to that an original replacement screen has been used and the ip68 rating has been retained.

Your warranty will remain intact too.

I once owned a Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge and the same happened. This was the fault of the connection between the internal board and screen.

If this was a global issue then we'd know about it as Samsung would have to put something in place to remedy it.

Instead these are isolated cases where technology has failed as it can do with any type of mobile phone.

Yes it's not a good experience when it happens and it then depends on what the manufacturer does to resolve it to an amicable resolution.

In this case Samsung has acted and arranged to repair the phone for you.

If this has put you off buying a Samsung phone again then so be it.

As I said this happened to my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and since that phone I've owned the Samsung Galaxy s8 and now Samsung Note 9 and am very happy up to this point.

So its amicable on their part ..did i buy a repaired phone no. I bought a new phone. If i had broke i figured id. Be paying the bill. So its their fault. How about a new phone and the big guy takes a loss ? Why do i have to be stuck with a "repaired" phone... it held its ip rating ..dude thats what its supposed to do! And it hasnt been droppen in water.  And from the get go i think that was the promise ao now thats its repaired why should i believe ot ..im sure a certified twchnician built the ***** thing

Can you please stop swearing.

I mentioned the ip68 because people are sometimes tempted to get an unofficial engineer to carry out the work and this can loose that rating and void warranty.

I haven't mentioned if it had come into contact with water !

I'm in the UK and if I buy a phone from the Samsung Experience Store and it goes wrong in the first 30 days then they replace it with a new phone.

After the initial 30 days then it's a repair.

Did Samsung supply the phone to you directly or was it part of a mobile phone contract ?

Have you checked the Terms and Conditions for your country and seller.

All. Right so I. Got. My phone. Back. Today. As if matters wasn't worst know it has a big scratch possibly a fracture on the back. Of the phone. When they received the phone it was without screen protector so it saaid scratches on screen wixh I agree but no. To. The extent it came in.. Ok. I'll take. That.. The smudges on. The side. Also true. But I do. Have a case and never take. It off.. So know. I'll. Guest I'll have to go to. The superindenecy and report this. What a deal. My God it looks like the played table. Hockey with my. Phone. On. The back! Tried to. Make. Me. Believe I turned it like so. Headed to. Samsung to. See know what will happen. Since I ended with a repaired and know. Scratch possible fractured in. The back! I. Have the entry form and says scratchea. On screen. Is the back a screen I don't think. So. And it was something so. Blatant anybody would see it.! Keeps. Getting worse

If I have to send my phone or anything for that matter to be looked at and repaired I always take time and date stamped pictures of the item to have proof of its aesthetic condition just in case.

Also a picture of the item turned On.

Did you by chance do this to support your claims that the phone has been marked up since you relinquished it for repair ?

Well. No. Definate slipped on that but when we checked it with the supervisor. Wasn't noticed and she came to me and told me that she remembered that wasn't there so the only proof I have is is the entrance form which showed the imperfections at the time I presented the phone which says lines on scratches on the screen which I agree on because I didn't have a screen protector on but I did have a case on the phone so then he said some smudges on the edges which I also agree they did have I don't even argue anything they say in the sheet but see now my problem is the scratches on the back and as far as I know the back it's not a display so we should have been scratches on the backside of the carcass which they didn't put and they would have put it if it had been there so I so I got the lady that received the phone and she knows it wasn't like that she even told me she knew it wasn't like that so now I made a plane I have to wait till the 11th of January to see who answers me and if not then I got to go to the superintendent City of Commerce here in Colombia see what I can get done about to do cuz something now I'm left with a repaired phone and a scratched all in the back  glasses were it did have none. So. I guess that's my claim on the sheet mentions. No.scratches in the back

What a mess this is turning. Out to be. And they wanted to. Make. Me. Believe I. Entered like so. By they I mean the technician.. So. I'm guessing I. Got. A. Good. Chance because I asked everybody in the store for the cellphone lingo or. Actual. Term. Of the back.. Is it a screen they said. Know.. I said what do. You call it officially she saih back carcass  If translation. Is right
