S9+ call volume low

Hi suddenly my call volume is very low and can hardly hear the other person. Works fine on bluetooth.

I started having this problem 9 months ago. I found this solution and I assumed I could just use an electronics wet wipe to clean the speaker. Didn't work. 9 months later I found this again and tried a toothbrush. 

I can't believe I wasted the last 9 months asking people to repeat themselves because I didn't try a toothbrush! It's amazing now! The toothbrush worked!

So don't try to shortcut this solution.

I was about to pay a bundle to have my 9+ rebuilt to have the ear speaker replaced.  A final google got me here and after a gentle brushing and blow away of invisible debris, boom: A NEW PHONE!!  It all works great again.  Amazing what a little pocket lint can do!!

I used this & mine worked again within seconds!!

This worked perfect!!! Alcohol on a toothbrush and and alcohol wipe over the ear piece and the entire phone fixed it!!!! Thank you!!!

I couldn't get the toothbrush, wet or with alcohol, to work, but used a fine pin to gently clean the mesh over the speaker, that worked a treat!

Wow thanks for that advice, I was going to take it to a shop but the toothbrush worked so well I've had to turn the volume down to half way to avoid being deafened lol
