S Memo is missing

I lose a lot of notes when i upgraded today from my s7 edge to s9+ 

The thing is that  there isn't  s memo (yellow  note pad app) from samsung officially, now is Note Memo (red app) after Samsung's cloud  restored i understand that i lose all of the notes 😫😫😫

Samsung Notes was missing from the S9 (transfer from S6).

Down loaded Samsung Notes and followed instructions.

It worked. Well done that man.

No problems my friend.i  solve it .there is a option in new  Samsung Note app settings, to sync and restor memos from old S Memo app with samsung account!!! Open Samsung Notes .than in right top corner tap the 3 dots for settings.than import memo data. From Samsung account. Thats it !!!now i have all my memos from the S memo old app!!

Hi. On my Samsung Note there are no 3 dots and no option to import data from S Memo. I think I lost all my notes/memos and I'm really mad.

Yep bc everyone having same issue, where u check to sync backup, they aren't anything to import n I find pretty crappy of Samsung to remove or replace app without any type notification nothing just switch causing more than pain in my butt.

Same problem here when I was stupid enough to allow a firmware update on my S7. S Notes was wiped out with all its data. None of the recovery suggestions have worked.

Apple phone next for me. I can  no longer trust Samsung.

Same problem here, it comes in as an image. My files were also backed up to my SD card is there an app that could open them? S Notes can't.
