Messages deleted

Hi, I accidentally deleted all my messages from my messages app. Does anybody know how to retrieve them?

Hi @user4321  Go to Messages, tap Menu Bar  3 dots (More options)-Recycle Bin. click Messages you want to Restore. They are only kept for 30 days though.  It is advisable to take Back ups periodically in Accounts and Backup-Samsung Cloud.

Hi JAMES4578, thanks for your message. There's no recycle bin option for me. Tried looking it up online, but it only showed me what you've told me. Don't know what else to do.

If you do have the Recycle Bin option on this screen I suspect it is not an option on the S9.

In this case you would only be able to restore the messages if you had previously taken a Back Up.
