As the title says... I have no problem indoors or even traveling on the bus, however the secomd I am outside I continually loose signal. And yup, you guessed it, this is only since the Pie update.
I also use a free phone app called 'My Phone Explorer' which works eventually, however the client resisdes in the memory until I reboot the phone... even when I close recent apps, it is still there runnning in the background. It has never done this before... i.e. before the Pie update.
And NO! I shouldn't have to do a factory reset, or reflash the firmware.
