Hi I'm using an S9 plus. I've noticed past few days whatever I use , Instagram , what's app or YouTube it minimize minimizes to home screen by itself. Is there a fix for this? As long as it's not my phone and something else then all good .it's very annoying and happens nearly on all apps. Thanks

I just started having the same issue, and was annoying me cause the video recording stopped on its own after 1 or 2 minutes, plus the other stuff that is mentioned in this thread. Turned out to be the Messaging app built in in this A11. I went to the Message app settings, and turned off the option that says "Appear on top" plus disabling the general notifications of this app.

Thank you, been searching everywhere, and your solution is the one that worked. And for me the culprit is messaging, just disabled the "appear on top" and all my nightmare dissappear!

In my case the culprit was Google Play Services. Cleared cache, unistalled updates, reinstalled updates (and also limited the permissions like change system settings, but I also did that before and it was still behaving strangely so I think that didn't do anything) and after that it was working OK. No need to deactivate PIP.
