Does anyone know if Samsung are launching a beta program for Android pie? The early builds are out.

Don't install the first Beta or sideloaded. Horrific sound issues on the S9. Calls connected with no audio in or out. Really not worth the hassel. Flashing back to BTU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Don't understand how it could be so bad. They've had Pie for ages.

You're the only person I've seen say that, so probably not very wide spread, reset your phone if you didn't after the update

Shame to see your having issues, did you update or data wipe for the One UI?

Also have you tried the usual, wipe cache 3 times OR even go as far to do a factory reset?

My partners S9 is running like a charm, apart from the known issues which is created a thread about, if you guys/gurls have a few minutes spare maybe drop your BETA feedback to this link below..

Please keep posts to a single post, and update/edit when you need too..

FEEDBACK PLEASE ON BETA One UI ONLY..

Thanks

BTU or XEU are both unlocked/unbranded firmwares for the UK, I changed mine from o2 carrier (O2U) to XEU

First download and flash the BTU/XEU firmware, then on first boot it should ask you to reset your phone because of a SIM card change (Mine was in German) and once it resets it will switch CSCs to BTU or XEU

When you flash the firmware you MUST choose "CSC" and not "HOME_CSC", otherwise the CSC will not change

Problem is CSC wipes your device clean whereas HOME_CSC doesn't .

You choose which CSC before downloading it, each firmware has a different CSC (Region), pick the one you want for your model S9 (example: G960F)

CSC does wipe your device which is the only way to change CSCs, you cannot change CSCs any other way
