HelloStill stuck on August security patchStill stuck on August security patch

Hello, while I was checking for updates seeing the news about one ui, I realised its been months since I received any updated. I'm still stuck on the August patch, battery is a problem with it dying when my phone reaches 6 or 7pc or recently even at 18%. I moved from India to Ireland in September and did a factory reset after inserting an Irish sim since it wanted me to do a factory reset. So what's happening to my device? I've been checking everyday and there's no one ui update either. Can Samsung help me?

i bought it directly from samsung experience, in india. and im pretty sure everything was normal like the csc code back in india. when i purchased the tesco sim it asked me to reset as it had to change the csc code

It's my opinion then it wasn't actually a Samsung Official store but a shop with the Samsung banner above the door that specialises in selling Samsung products.

A factory reset as I mentioned will not change or affect the CsC Code in anyway.

That's achieved by installing a Custom.Rom.

I have an s10+ bought in UAE and imported to france i checked the phone info app and it says firmware csc and active csc is XEF (france) there must be a way to change the csc as im still recieving updates.

And about the update its not necessairy to install a custom rom you can directly flash it without triggering knox

1.  Download samfrew from the play store.

2. Download the update suggested by the app on ur computer

3. Flash it using Odin (on your computer) there are plenty of tutorials on youtube on how to do it.

Thanks so much for the reply bandofbrothers, yes I bought it sim free. When I bought my sim from Tesco it mentioned something about a csc change and that I had to do a factory reset. I called Samsung Ireland and they said I should receive updates from India, told them I haven't been getting any from August they said they can't do anything... I don't want to try custom roms yet, thought someone at Samsung could be an expert and help but yeah.. As for the battery I'll do that now

Hi @darks619 : just being curious, as I'm in a discussion what a successful update depends upon : did you eventually succeed in getting updates ?

Thank you for replying ! @SE11 has got a similar problem, at least that's what I thought it might be. He tried the solution that you successfully implemented, but it didn't work out for him : https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/S10-Android-10-Not-Updating
