Why only snoring detection while on charge now

Very disappointing to see they've changed the snoring detection to only work while charging ? Why should it matter if your phone is charged when you go to bed ? 

I've even tried having it plugged into a charging brick and that still didn't work so it appears it has to be plugged into the mains which isn't possible all the time for me at least. 

I urge samsung to give us this flexibility back to have it record regardless of being plugged in...

If I remember right it's snore detection requires your phone on charge

I feel like  you are definitely on to something. I got this message this morning and had NEVER seen it before.

But did you ever have the feature work for you before? 

I actually found that the first time it even recorded any snoring was 2 nights ago. (That being said, I have recently switched from a z fold 6 to a z fold 7.)

On my fold 6, every morning it would just say it didn't record anything, but would provide no further explanation. Could you change be that now it explains WHY it didn't record anything?

Yes ive had the feature work relativity well but have never noticed until recently that it won't record unless on charge and even includes not recording while plugged into a charging powerbank. I've only noticed since I bought my new S25 ultra though.
I just don't understand why it's a restriction these phones are really capable of lasting the night recording snoring Imo.
Im not always in a place Ican plug in during the night and it's just frustrating
