Why can't I use Swipe to Invoke / Corner Swipe for Gemini?

This seems like an incredible useless and arbitrary limitation. I want to keep the "side button" as a power menu button I don't wanna type or speak to Gemini every time I need to power cycle my device.

It hasn't launched, it's pre release software. The official launch is 7 February. There's some really basic elements missing in the camera software right now, a simple Gemini activation etc. I'm pretty sure others have found many more.

I'm afraid in the politest of terms, you are talking absolute rubbish.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Sorry but it in the politest of terms you are talking rubbish.

The One UI7 on the S25 series is the stable version for those devices.

The fact you say you haven't tried the S25 yet
Effectively renders your comments invalid
I have the S24 Ultra on Beta software
I used an S24 on pre release software
Now I have the S25 Ultra
I really don't know what point you are trying to make. But the S25 series phones are being sent out early on the full software
Yes the official release date was set as 7 February
But Samsung are releasing devices earlier more to do with logistics than anything else
In fact it looks like the S24 Ultra will get the full One UI 7 in the next week or two

You obviously are clueless what official means, politely speaking. You're also rude and don't even have the decency to explain yourself, what have I said that is rubbish exactly?

Yet, it was on charge and yes I have tried it, it doesn't support it yet. Been spotting a lot of missing elements even comparing to the S24 Ultras Beta OneUI 7. This build clearly feels pre release.

Just check video portrait mode, all the filters and other options are missing for example. These options are available in the S24 on beta and even OneUI 6.1 on older devices. I do know, as I'm writing this right now through my S25 Ultra...

Guys if you feel that Samsung needs to look at certain aspects of the software then this can raised in tjis specific thread > https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/the-suggestions-amp-ideas-thread-for-softwa... that then are sent to Samsung for due consideration, and people can send feedback directly to Samsung via the Samsung Members App.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

No not really, I've mentioned in my post that I want to reserve the functionality of the side key as the exclusive power key and not have to type or talk to Gemini to do that all the time.

The software on the S25 is not a beta

Wow

Just wow

I'm clueless? Yeh I am not the one suggesting (incorrectly) that Samsung have sent out millions of devices with incomplete software?

So if I'm clueless, you are also saying that @Glenntech and @~Robot and effectively many of the Samsung Members Stars are too.

Wow.
