Hi everyone, just want to know how I may send back my trade in, I have received the trade in pack, there is a tracked48 label with lots of barcodes/qr code , this insures up to £150 ,and it states on the instructions manual that this track48 has to be used ? However my phone's is valued at over £150 and I don't feel comfortable sending using the track48 postage , I have emailed the trade in team for more information, but no reply yet. Thanks

Hi 👋

From when I did trade in I just packaged the phone up took it to Post Office and asked them to send it through signed delivery i think it was which covered the phone for the trade in value that was estimated.

They can't upgrade or change the label you have so you'll have to pay for the new one but I think it was like £9 something just take the address from the current label with you so they know where it's going 🙂

Ok I understand this , do you use the label provided and tell post office to send as special delivery instead of track48 ? Thanks

Hi, I have never had an issue yet sending a trade in using the label supplied. What i would suggest and many advocate is filming the process of sending it back, I.e show that the phone works, isn't damaged, boxing it up etc and then of course ensuring you keep hold of the receipt from the post office, they will send you an email (sometimes!) when received, as I say, I have never had an issue yet and I have done several trade ins. I should add I also include the trade in letter, I take a photograph so I have the details, I don't know that you're supposed to cos the reference number is on the label, but I do

That's exactly what I do

Make sure take lots of pictures of your phone on and off so they is no disputes after also the serial number and immigration

Close up of the edges, video maybe even easier and yoy sealing bag etc

As @-Robot- has said.
Definitely make sure you use the lable you have been sent for the trade in.
It has a code specifically to you to go through the trade in process.
Make sure its the trade in lable and not the returns lable as well

Hi all, my method is as follows.
I usually take some pictures of the device on & off including a video, then use bubble rap with the box the s24 ultra came in, then send it via special delivery & i put the track48 label provided on the otherside of the parcel, even though its special delivery.
And last but not least I email customer service with the tracking details.
Never fails

Hi, When I've done this I've put on the supplied label then taken the trade in to the post office and asked to pay for special delivery from the original address details but keeping the original label with the bar code clear and visible. I think the special delivery might also sometimes get you a quicker trade in too (but not guaranteed). Hope this helps and good luck with it
