Thoughts on One Ui 7 & upcoming One Ui 8

What is everyone's thoughts in One Ui 7 in general, both positive and negative. As Samsung have announced One Ui 8 coming this Summer. Far more earlier than traditional.

Mine is the inconsistent rollout for even the pervious flagship devices. 

What would you want to see improved in One Ui 8.

IMHO cosmetic changes are (nearly) immaterial SO should be via selection between skins maybe with an icon construction kit & selection tool) - differences should be signed posted though because not everyone finds changes obvious
BUT changes to basic function like the unlock screen changing from swipe down to swipe up with no way to change is CRASS stupidity.
An habitual action has just become a source of constant REPEATED ANNoyANCE multiple times per hour - if anything is a prompt for evaluation of competitors products when rocking the boat wasn't necessary this is a stand-out example.
Ditto the app selection/ find screen.
Unilaterally Changing the UX for fundamental actions without a migration and reversion path is poor awareness of the basics of UI, marketing, customer care, brand loyalty and should earn the whole organisation responsible a reprimand and be the subject of a learning from experience review
