The camera or the AI related to the photos are very bad. the S23 ultra is much better.

Hi,

Consider that S23 Ultra has a real 10x ZOOM Camera while S25 Ultra only has a 5x ZOOM Camera. AI algorithms can try improving the output picture but if the initial image was already shot with a higher zoom the the output will of course be better when compared.

However S25 Ultra has a new ISP (image signal processor) which will allow to use more advanced AI/ML models to further improve the quality of the resulting image. All Galaxy S25 are still running an initial firmware which was stable enough to be used daily but some minor inconveniences might still be present. User Feedback is the most important thing in this case as the R&D team can address these issues and release and improve software in the next months. This means that you still can't do a proper comparison between an older model, which has been refined in an entire year, with a model which just launched.

Have a good evening!

well i captioned it as 100x zoom. I am not talking about the camera. which also I am not happy about the over smoothing the normal photo. one of these photos are for s23 ultra which I can see the texture of wood, jeans or other stuff but in s25 ultra they are so smooth. the settings are the same.😮IMG_20250204_201921_470_1000029515_1738696850.jpg20250204_194119_1000029502_1738696839.jpg

100x ZOOm is just a digital crop of the 5x ZOOM (in S25 Ultra) or 10x ZOOM (in S23 Ultra) with some AI algorithms applied to improve the quality. That's what my first comment was talking about.

As I said, and it seems you didn't understand, you can't compare fairly S23 Ultra and S25 Ultra yet. You have to wait for, at least, 1 update in the next months.

That texturing of S23 Ultra in reality is high quantity of sharpening and clarity done by the processing. You can easily notice this when you take a picture of a tree with leaves, where the oversharpening starts to create a mess of lines and textures. S25Ultra toned down the effect to be more neutral. Actually so did S24Ultra. In additon, at low light it uses noise reduction algorithms that might give you the feeling of "smoothness". Keep in mind, clarity and sharpening can easily be added with the editing tool in the gallery, to get the same "texture" effect as S23Ultra, but they can not be removed once added , so getting a non sharpened look on S23Ultra becomes impossible. It is better to add it when you want it or need it , than to never be able to remove it when you do not want it or need it.

Ciao a tutti,

Attendo tue, rimango a disposizione.

Ciao

Hello Jessica, i have the same opinion as Parisamh: s25 ultra pictures use TOO MUCH AI and makes the pictures very bad; just leave here a comparison with a 21 ultra.

Look how some details become unauthentic.

Resto a disposizione.

Ciao,
