Ok, thanks. I can't be bothered to do that, recreating the home pages, settings etc isn't worth it for the sports scores. I'll just wait till they fix it

FYI for anyone thinking of doing a complete restore, it did not work for me, installed each app from play store, not using a backup or copying any settings, still no sport scores. So don't bother doing that if sport scores don't work for you. Seems completely random as to why it does not work, in fact like most of the new features on OneUi 7. tbh i would not recommend anyone rushes to upgrade from OneUI 6, the key new features are still in development by the look of it !

Samsung released an update to the AOD today which stated it helped with the lack of sports scores in the now bar, doesn't make any difference, still doesn't work sadly

It is not a bug if your not getting sports live notifications try this worked for me.
Specifically in Google app my personalized search was turned off so it was not working for me early.

yep, checked all this, there are too many people for who this does not work for it to be a settings problem and not a bug, it might well be on the google side, but either way no it doesn't work sadly.

Yes, I was not getting sports updates through Google, even though I had subscribed to get the updates, under search personalisation, sports were flagged as 'not interested' no idea why. Once I cleared that I got updates both in Google feed and now bar

I finally fix the problem. Just go to Google app and search 'timeline' in settings and check it like the photo then restart your phone.

Timeline is a Google maps setting, not in the Google app, it's in your Google account settings - and it's not related to the info in the now bar, so not relevant.
