Galaxy Unpacked 2025 - It's Here - It's Real and It's Live
Here in San Francisco / San Jose it was an early start this morning. 7am to be precise when we commented our journey to The SAP Centre in San Jose. Unpacked scheduled to start at 10.00am local time (18.00 UK time).
Excitement reached fever pitch as the 56 Samsung Members from 20 countries were escorted to the venue.
Shortly after 9am we arrived and were fast tracked to our seats, right at the front, to enjoy the spectacle of Galaxy Unpacked 2025.
As usual, the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 was a well managed, marketing marvel which aimed to showcase the key elements to the new S25 Series and it delivered.
Whilst most of the focus was on AI, the big thing in mobile today across the world, there were significant hardware and software upgrades.
New UW 50mp cameras.
Curved Corners.
Flatter edges around the device.
New s-pen (S25 Ultra non Bluetooth)
10x telephoto optical camera.
To name a few.
After the Galaxy Unpacked Finished, the Samsung Members Connect team (all the Stars) went Behind The Scenes to see real life examples of the new devices along with some new Samsung tech including an AR Headset, S25 Ultra, S25+, S25 and a teaser for the upcoming S25 Galaxy Edge (a slim edition of the S25 series which is due "very soon" but not before S24 series deliveries have commenced.
Excitement was huge, especially at the device tables.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2025 was mostly about AI though and all it can deliver.
The Now Bar (available to those in S24 series beta) is a fantastic function that enables your device to support you and do a growing range of things allowing you more time to focus on the things you enjoy most, or be with the people that matter to you. And it works seamlessly with quite a few apps.
Gemini and Bixby working together and alone offering more and more functionality.
And improved cameras offering improved AI processing.
Circle to Search is more and more.
And Samsung now support 20 languages in its Translation App, the list of which keeps on growing.
AR Headset
The S25 Galaxy Edge - watch the space, it won't be long.
