This may sound obvious, but make sure low power mode/battery saver is off.
Plug into PC.
1. Turn off the phone. 2. Press and hold the required buttons to open the recovery menu. 3. Release the buttons when the phone vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. 4. Use the volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition. 5. Press the power button to select Wipe cache partition. 6. Press the volume buttons to navigate to Yes. 7. Press the power button to confirm Yes. 8. The phone will automatically reboot.

Just to clarify that you can also connect to Tv USB or other Mobile, if PC is not concenient. step 2 is to Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power key.

A restart fixes it for a few hours. Interestingly plugging it into the car for Android Auto also fixed it temporarily. Pretty gutted to be honest - guess I'll have to try a factory reset next.
