Hi everyone, what's wrong with the S25 series? When making a video call on Messenger or Instagram, the phone heats up very quickly and becomes very laggy. I've cleared the cache several times, even reinstalled apps, and reset my device, but every time I make a video call, the same problem occurs.
I can't believe this is happening...

Hello 👋 @MarkFobb and Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.
The phone will warm up whilst using resource intensive apps / features however it should be within a reasonable level. Do you have a case on the phone.
Try clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files.
Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I have a case, and my daily apps are Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Spotify. Are these apps too heavy for the S25 Ultra btw I don't play games? if so, I'm speechless tbh.
I only have an issue with video calls and have no problems with anything else. I've cleared the cache, but it doesn't help at all.

I am have same problem. On video call phone heats up a lot. I switched to audio call after a 15 min video call and felt like a hot-plate over the face.

it is experiencing conflicts with SNS apps like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, causing it to heat up quite quickly. I'm certain it's due to conflicts because when I switch to WhatsApp to make video calls, the phone remains fine, unlike when using Instagram or Messenger. Samsung has also confirmed this issue and stated that they will address it in a stable update. Hope they push it soon.
