S25 Ultra Battery Draining Too Fast – Need Help

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from an iPhone 14 Pro Max to the new Galaxy S25 Ultra, mainly because I was unhappy with the battery life on the iPhone. But to my surprise, the battery life on the S25 Ultra has been even worse.

Even my 2-year-old iPhone still lasts longer than this brand-new Samsung. I’ve already tried all the recommended tips – lowering the display resolution and brightness, turning off background app refresh, enabling battery saver, and managing app usage – but the battery still drains much faster than expected, even with light use.

Is this just me, or are others also facing the same issue with the S25 Ultra?

Would really appreciate any help or advice. Thanks in advance!

When you say you've just bought it, how recently?

Your new device will go through a 14 day battery learning cycle so it can understand how you is your device and optimise your device for your needs.

It will also take several charging cycles to get there.
