S25 Plus hot

Is anyone else's S25 series getting real hot doing the most simple tasks? Particularly up the top left next to the camera. Watching YouTube and it randomly got stupidly hot and I watched the battery drop 5% in 5 minutes.

That's sad. Fortunately my S25U has been performing excellent from the day one. No major issues detected

Is this an upgrade? If you used Smart Switch to upgrade, I would suggest clearing the cache partition.

Plug into PC/laptop
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Press and hold the volume up and side buttons.
3. Release the side button when the phone turns on.
4. Press and hold the volume up button until the phone enters recovery mode.
5. Use the volume buttons to select "Wipe cache partition".
6. Press the power button to confirm.
7. Use the volume buttons to select "Yes".
8. Press the power button to confirm.
9. Press the power button to restart.


Make sure all apps are updated. Some have reported that using Smart Switch has caused issues moving across apps. It's best to move everything besides apps, then add them manually.

Battery life on the S25 series can take up to two weeks to fully optimize.

Probably worth doing a wipe partition cashe on the phone

Depends on what you are doing at the time, but wiping the Partition Cashe usually helps

Just tried re starting the phone and it's getting hot just turning on. Never experienced anything like this on my 23 plus.

Try wipe cache partition of the phone or back everything up and do full factory reset, if nothing helps and phone is still in cooling off period return the phone as mentioned by @BandOfBrothers and @Glenntech
