S25 fast charging not working

Hi all,

I've tried to use the super fast charging with my S25, but it's not working.

I used the original brick (25W) and cable. When i disable the fast charging from settings, the charger works fine.

I tried several others chargers and all of them work, with a slower charging rate of course.

Just for sake of completeness, the brick and cable work fine with my tablet s9 even with fast charging settings. 

So it seems a problem coming from the phone.

Does anyone have the same issue?

All the charging issues are already known, whether related to fast charging at 45 watts or at 25 watts. Your cables, or rather your charging hardware, have nothing wrong with them. It's just a problem with the S25 that Samsung hasn't resolved yet. I'm sorry.

Currently, to charge the Galaxy S25 you need to use an original 25W power supply with the 3A cable that came with the smartphone.

Hi @cms1010,

I would like to point out that, for Super Fast Charge 2.0, you need to use 45W power supply; 25W power supply is suitable for regular Fast Charge. You can identify the speed of charge looking the animation on display: a green circle is for fast charging, a blue circle is for super fast charging.

I'm referring to regular fast charge. I have a S25 base model so maximum charge speed is 25W. When I connect the charger the phone recognise the Super Fast Charger connected, but the charging process doesn't work. The battery level stays the same and the phone is not charging at all. If I deactivate the fast charging from "charging settings" the phone starts charging again, but with a limited speed.
