S25 Camera Not Working on Google Meet

The camera permissions are correctly configured, and the green “active” camera icon is visible in the top-right corner, indicating the camera is operational. However, during Google Meet sessions, the video feed displays a black screen instead of the camera output.

I'm adding our two S25 Ultras to the list of phones that the camera isn't working with Google Meet.  Hoping for a fix before I have to send the trade ins to Samsung.  It still works on those...

Same problem here with 25ultra. Checked everything, settings are good.looked on other websites it seems to be a problem for everyone.

Still not working for me after trying solution. It appears to only have issues with "Legacy calls" and not all calls. Any call that isn't designated a Legacy call seems to work no problem.

Yes, I noticed that. Most work but those legacy calls dont. Lets contact Google 1st one who does reply here fast thanks! Cheers.

OK, so I figured it out..25 year old Tech geek veteran here...The aspect of the new Google meet deals with email addresses so I could get my video to work on every email that I called with the same person...

So the phone number is giving people issues. So I deleted all my phone number people on the call list as they were duplicates and just used their email address and it worked perfectly fine!

Check after you tap on the person. If its a phone number, remove from list and try calling their email!

I have the same issue and i recieved my device from s.com on thursday.

I have the same issue with the camera on meet. Not just for meet but for other 3rd party apps too. Once screen locks during a video call you cannot the toggle the camera on or off.

Previously owned S23Ultra and S24 Ultra.

This is a big disappointment. Debating whether i should return the phone as i didnt send my trade in device yet for this issue.

Yes it was the same for me. Lagacy didn't work but when I went to storage and pressed clear data it had no issues making lagacy calls.Not sure what other steps you can take. 🤔
