Hello,
One of the most useful features is the ability with routines to enable airplane mode when coming home or into a known WiFi and disable airplane mode once the phone cannot reach that WiFi anymore.
This feature almost doubles the battery life and improves call quality as the phone will now always use the WiFi.
Unfortunately, since the One UI 7 update, this feature is broken and airplane mode is enabled when entering the range of the configured Wifi, but it will not turn off the airplane mode again. Thats actually a real issue that makes it impossible to use the phone in the car when there is still WiFi signal, because the routine that connects Android Auto cannot connect to the car anymore either.
I have reported a bug but Im not sure how many people do actually know about this issue.

Is the airplane mode set to turn everything off

Hi, yes it is.
I also have more than one phone (S22U, S23+, S25) and all have the same issue. I deleted the routine and set it up again. To no avail. So its clearly an issue with the new OneUI7, because it worked on the previous version.
Was wondering how many people actually know about this extremely useful feature, because my intend with that thread is to figure out if Samsung has actually an incentive to fix the bug in time or if I need to say goodbye to my most loved feature of the phone.

If airplane is turning off everything then it will not know when it is back in wifi range. From what you are saying wifi needs to be on. So have it enabled under airplane mode. Its on state should be honoured as airplane mode is enabled/disabled
