Notification sounds

I don't understand what happened, and this is something related to Android or to the S25 itself.

When I had my S20 I was able to customize every sound of every app.
Now, in many apps I am stuck with the default sound, which I don't like.

For example: the weather app. I couldn't find any way to change the notification sound for this app.

It's really frustrating to find this setting even for apps which can have personalized sounds.

Also, I am receiving notifications for every appointment of every calendar somebody else shared with me and there's apparently no way to disable those notifications.

Hello, @Stefaniaf  You can still do this on the S25, just with a few extra steps now.

Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings >  enable Mange notifications for categories for each app. That should allow you to change every sound for each app per sound effect for messages, likes etc. 

Settings > Apps > Which ever app you want > notifcatons > Notification categories. It is a little more time consuming then it was before. 

Do you know how to install custom sounds?

You can still customize the app sounds for each app but it's very time consuming to set it up for each one.

The other issue about shared calendars can't be solved, apparently.

True! It's more time consuming and - for some apps - you simply can't change the sound. For example, messages do not have this option.

Sorry to hear the calender can't be changed, you could try make a suggestion on here if you use Samsung Calender.
