Not getting certain notifications until phone unlocks

I'm a new S25 Ultra user after upgrading from S23 Ultra. 

I've recently noticed I'm not getting certain app notifications until I unlock my phone, and then they'll flood in (noticed specifically Twitter and Twitch).

The notifications don't show up on the lock screen, they just don't show up at all until they flood in when I unlock the phone.

Troubleshooted:

- Allow Background data usage Enabled

- Battery Unrestricted

- Cache cleared

- Power Saving

- Reinstalled Apps

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

To clarify, when you unlock your phone do they then appear. Or when you unlock your phone, you get loads of pings and notifications coming as if they're brand new?

As some notifications are hidden before unlock by default. Though them being brand new after unlock suggests some power saving system is acting up

They ping up as new when I unlock my phone. I've turned off all battery saving settings but to no avail

You don't happen to have twitter set to restricted do you? Also check if you have background syncing on within twitter.

When your phone is locked, it is normal for Notifications to be delayed and appear when you unlock. But only after the device has sat for a few hours. Having it all the time isn't normal

I recently upgraded to an S25+ and am having the same issue. They are not hidden; they arrive and send my phone into a fit when I unlock to home screen.

Exactly the same problem on s25 ultra, quite disappointed..

There is a long discussion of this on the US forums. Only solution I found was to use "adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable" after downloading android platform tools.

USB debugging needs to be enabled for that.
