News not showing in Daily Briefing

One of the things I want to see in the new AI daily briefing is news. I have it toggled on for news, but dont get any news on the widget.

What news app does briefing use and how do I set this up?

I'm only getting weather and my calendar entries for the day. All options toggled on. Would love to know how to get it to include more.

I get weather, calendar and sometimes Spotify but no News

Some mornings I get the news and sometimes nothing. It's not consistent, if you don't know it's going to be there why use the option at all?

I don't get any news as well although included them in the now brief settings.

Don't get much and why does it recommend YouTube shorts on the night owl briefing when you should be stopping doom scrolling to get good sleep
