Hi community just upgraded to S25 ultra from S23 ultra i noticed its now a different stock message app. Google live messages is it any good do you have any recommendations i prefer the Samsung one on previous models seems like its discontinued

I think you can still download Samsung Messages from the galaxy store, not sure how much long it has though

I like the Google messages more but alot of other members like the Samsung one

I still use Samsung messages and will use it as long as I can.

Hate Google UI and am not much into rcs so not an issue for me.

Love Samsung messages.

I'd say try both and see which suits your needs.

That's what I love about Samsung . It's all about Choice. 😊

The messaging app seems to work well with the AI features should you want to use, there's also some animated background images that at times fit in with your replies mainly for special occasion. I'm not expert on this but just as I noticed thought I'd let you know.

I have predominantly used Samsung Messages,have not tried Google Messages for a little while but can obviously make comparisons. Whilst not so long ago it looked like Samsung Messages was being phased out it now looks like it will be supported for a little while yet. Word of new features coming with One UI8 such as Emoji reactions, Live location sharing and Now brief  support.

I've been using Google messages for quite a while now. It has more features and gets updates regularly and better spam protection. It just depends on which one you prefer. I haven't used samsung messages. So i can't really say which one is better.
