I've looked at every forum, searched all over the internet, but I cannot get the notifications to show as cards on the lock screen under the clock. I just see icons. I've already turned it on and off, turned card style notifications off and on, looked at which apps should show notifications, etc., but the problem persists...I only see notifications as small icons under the clock instead of the cards. The ONLY way I seem to see cards is when the phone is unlocked. I can see a notification when it happens or if I swipe down from the top, left corner.
This is a bummer because I just got my S25 Ultra today. Having the cards on the lockscreen was a big deal as I'm also an iPhone user...so I like to see what notifications I need to address and ones I can ignore on the lockscreen. Can't do that right now as they are only tiny icon.
What can I do? This is a brand new phone! 😞

Hello 👋 @keyogee
Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.
As the phone is new and just been set up it may take a short while to settle.
Do double check in Settings > Notifications > Lock Screen Notifications.
May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.
I'm aware some also use the Glimpse Notifications App.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I've gone through the configuration several times to ensure I didn't miss anything. As you can see from the second screenshot...I still have the small icons. I'm not sure what to do, but I will look through this forum and see if there's a solution somewhere.
Thanks
Greg

Unfortunately...I haven't found any solutions. I see that there are many others looking for the same solution though. It seems like a glitch of some sort that's a part of the UI as my phone is new and I didn't upgrade from a previous phone, so all of the settings are default for the most part. There shouldn't be any conflicting functions that keep the card notifications from showing.

Hi, did you find a solution? I actually have the cards and want the small icons instead
a month ago
My Wife has not been able to receive text message notification from the status bar since upgrading to one ui 7.0 last week. The text messages appear properly within the Messaging app. None of these menu options appear like for example the Cards option. Like everyone else, I tried everything from wipe cache partition to all kinds of recommendations I've seen on the forums
. What I found was when there is no pin/password etc. set... then these panel menus do not even appear thus inhibiting one from getting text notifications from the status bar. If you create a temporary pin, then all the menu's are there. After setting the card option and "Show alerting notification" only then will everything work as designed. If you want, you can then go back and from settings, remove the temporary pin (not that I would recommend) and revert back to your screen lock and biometrics to None. Everything should still properly when None is selected. To me this seems like a bug in One UI 7.0.

I'm a few months in now, and the lock screen notifications still do not show as cards...only small icons.

No...I'm still dealing with this problem. How did you get the cards to work? I can't tell you what I did to get the small icons...that's what shows when I select cards. I'm wondering if there's some other setting that's keeping it from showing correctly? I didn't upgrade my phone, I had One UI 7 installed by default. Did you upgrade to One UI 7 or is your phone new as well?

I also realized that I can have a flashlight and camera on the lock screen as I saw pics of other phones with it displayed, but I don't have that showing on my phone. I'm wondering if this is all a part of the same issue. I haven't research this that much yet and will do so.
