How to move the app screen search box/bar back to the top?

Just moved to the S25 from S23 and I'm not impressed with OneUI 7.

As far as the app screen/drawer is concerned, I know where all my apps are by muscle memory and only use the search function once in a blue moon. The search bar really should be far away from my fingers at the top like it has always been.

There should at least be an option to select the location of the search bar.

Agreed. The stupid search bar is in my way for something i never use. Why cant i move it on the screen to where i desire. I hate when all my ***** moves around because of an update. Leave it as it was!

The search bar being at the bottom is ridiculous. Even the home acflreen and widgets i had don't fit as I had the. The whole upgrade looks silly. The app icons looks like cartoons drawing. One UI 7nis more of a downgrade rather than an upgrade. I will.look to change from Samsung. I have always had an android but this change is too much and very annoying. I did t even have a chance to not upgrade as we dont know until upgrade how it will affect the look of the phone!

For me the top made it easier for me to search for things at work during presentations because it was easier to look up from my screen while googling things for my boss or apps I need. I hate this search on bottom thing

Literally the worst thing about this new UI. The fact that they didn't automatically include the option to change position is equally frustrating. Samsung. Please. For the love of God. Just give us the option to put it back up top if we want to.

The update changed it on my 24u too.. it's horrible...and it honestly makes me hate the phone now...and the one handed excuse is poor at best..not everyone is a child..I have hands big enough to use the phone with out the wasted space of one handed options...sorry for ranting but it's enough for me to give apple another chance

I've seen others say this change was to improve single hand use, but I only have one hand and much prefer the search bar at the top! This update is driving me crazy fixing all the default changes, but at least I have been able to find the settings to revert things back to how I like/need them. However, it is absurd for there to be a big change like this and not allow for customization.
