How to move the app screen search box/bar back to the top?

Just moved to the S25 from S23 and I'm not impressed with OneUI 7.

As far as the app screen/drawer is concerned, I know where all my apps are by muscle memory and only use the search function once in a blue moon. The search bar really should be far away from my fingers at the top like it has always been.

There should at least be an option to select the location of the search bar.

It's just ridiculous.  Don't move stuff. Let us move it if we want. And what's the go with changing the app icons. ***** OFF. Do your updates but leave ***** alone. It's not like I sit on my ***** in an office all day playing on my phone.

100% agree! I got the update overnight and I signed in to my samsung-account here for the first time in years just to like these comments!! C'mon samsung let us cudtomize that's why we have andriod after all. First thing I did was change the setting for swiping down like before and now looking for an answer to this, dissapointing.

How did you change the swipe settings?. Im struggling to figure that out. Been an hour trying to put most everything back to how it was

I have just updated and I absolutely hate this. I don't feel we should be forced to "adapt" give us the option to decide if it's at the top or bottom. Hate hate hate it

And they changed my voice setting somehow and even though I have everything checked as a male voice I've got thus horrible woman's voice. And I can't get rid of the ***** off my phone. I'm starting to hate samsung with a passion

Yes, I absolutely hate this change. I can't believe that Samsung has decided to imposed their ui design choices on us instead of letting us have control over something so basic. After 15 years of Samsung phones I am looking into an alternatives

I came on to see if I could change this as well after updating tonight. I'm sad to see I cannot. I thought only Apple maintained ultra control on things, which is why I won't be an iSlave.

OneUI from the beginning has been a headache every update worse than the last... My thoughts are they're trying to push everyone into an iPhone. Every person who I know friends family colleagues all despise the new layout and the AI along with it. Samsung better listen up or they're gonna loose their longtime customers.
