Before I either reboot my s25u, or throw it out of a moving vehicle can anyone Help me?
I'm having issues with sum apps since rebooting my phone, when I go to reinstall my bank apps and it asks for txt authentication I don't receive the texts, has anyone had the same issue and know how to get around this? I cannot get the apps to work without the txt messages
Many thanks in advance ☺️

Sounds like a SIM issue tbh not the phone. Could your bank be sending them to an older number?

Ask a friend to send you a text- does it go through? If so- phone your bank to verify these details, and possibly change said number.

When I worked in online retail a part of that would be sending s code to the banking app and it simply didnt work; again, on the banks side over the device

I can get normal txt, but not off the apps, I'm also having trouble with my asda rewards app, it's like it doesn't recognise my account details even though it's correct

Change the account passwords? Takes 2 mins- unsure whats going on tbh but hopefully as simple as changing passwords via email.

These will have nothing to do with the phone as these are all 3rd party apps

You can request the bank to use a different method to log in and help you prove your identity, use online services ect.

If you're throwing it out a moving car, please let me know the route 😁

I used to have the same issues when setting bank apps up on a new phone, the dreaded text OTP code

I could physically hear the text come through but not seen it, even in the drop down, soooo I put my SIM in a different phone so when they came through I could just type them in.

The only problem with that idea is, having another phone, or maybe a watch might work with LTE, or a Samsung tablet with 5G. I'm mentioning the network gadgets because I don't think the Bluetooth ones will work. But definitely another phone does

Hope you succeed and don't give up on the S25, they are beautiful phones and very powerful
