Yea, Samsung Pay is the go-to if you're using a Samsung device. It's better integrated and frankly I don't think the compatibility is a big issue. It's widely accepted.
Now only for certain specialty cards, which only accept Google/Apple Pay, we have to switch to Google Pay.
After 3mths of sitting on this, I contacted my card issuer YouTrip once more and here is their reply:
We just got an update from the relevant team confirming that wallet pay provisioning is a know issue.
At the moment, there is no available workaround, and we are unable to take any further action from our side.
In cases like this, we highly suggest using the Physical card if and when doing transaction payments while we are actively working on a fix and we will keep you posted with any further updates.
So far this seems to happen only with the S25 series, and only for some users. Still confused who is to be blamed. I got a feeling it's not a Google issue. It's between Samsung and the card issuer, but I might be wrong.
Isn't there any Samsung representative here who can help us out here??
