Gemini and Bixby not working together anymore after update

When the S25 was announced one of the key features was the gemini/bixby integration - you could for example ask long press the side button and tell gemini to add a meeting in your calendar and gemini would use bixby to acces the calendar and get things done.

As of last update this is completely broken, gemini can't do anything in conjunction with bixby anymore. It can't set a samsung reminder, it can't set anything in samsung calendar, notes, nothing.

This needs to be fixed asap. Setting bixby as a main assistant is not an option because it doesn't speak my language.

This functionality was a unique selling point and was even in the video ad with the blonde girl - i have also been using this since day one, why is it gone?

I guess if bixby was available in your language Gemini could interact too

Found the issue, at around the same time of the update I also revoked a gemini permission for activity saving - this apparently is used to work together with bixby.

After re-allowing gemini activity saving, gemini was able to acces samsung apps and other phone settings through bixby again.
